Dashboards & reports
Dashboards are built in Grafana for different audiences, from the executive overview down to single processes and log lines. Reports summarise availability, performance and capacity on a schedule.
Dashboards
| Dashboard | Audience | Content |
|---|---|---|
| Executive | Management | Availability against SLA, incident trends, capacity forecasts, risks |
| Service overview | Operations | Status of all OpenText components per environment, active alerts, business transactions |
| Content Server | Administrators | Services, threads, request times, agents, scheduled jobs, queues, workflow locks |
| Search | Administrators | Processes, partitions, indexing queues and delay |
| Archive Center | Administrators | Services, pools, volumes, Storage Manager, jobs |
| End-to-end tests | Operations | Success and response time per scenario and step |
| Infrastructure | Platform teams | Hosts, Kubernetes, databases, web servers, certificates |
Dashboards refresh automatically, can be filtered by environment, component and node, and are customised per customer and role.
Drill-down
Links between dashboards keep the selected environment, component and time range, so you can go from an alert or a red tile to the affected node, process and log lines in a few clicks. Grafana Explore allows ad-hoc analysis of metrics and logs side by side.
Reports
| Report | Typical cadence | Content |
|---|---|---|
| Availability and SLA | Monthly, quarterly | Uptime per service, outages, SLA compliance excluding maintenance windows |
| Performance trends | Monthly | Response times, resource usage, comparison with previous periods |
| Capacity | Quarterly | Growth and forecasts for storage, database, index, threads and sessions |
| Incidents | Monthly | Alerts and incidents by severity, response and resolution times |
Reports are distributed by e-mail or file share. Dashboard data can be exported as CSV directly in Grafana; reports are provided as PDF, Excel or CSV.
