Architecture & supported products
otwatch collects metrics, test results and logs from the OpenText platform, evaluates them against alert rules and shows them in dashboards. All components are open source; the OpenText-specific content (checks, rules, dashboards, runbooks, WebReports) is provided by handel gmbh.

Supported versions
otwatch supports all OpenText Extended ECM releases from 22.x onwards, including quarterly releases. We recommend the annual x.4 releases (22.4, 23.4, 24.4, 25.4 and following), as these are also tested with SAP and are the most stable in operation; this is a recommendation, not a restriction. New releases are adapted as soon as possible after general availability. otwatch is not an OpenText-certified product.
Deployment options
- On-premises: Windows or Linux servers (services or Docker), VMware or Hyper-V virtual machines, or the customer's Kubernetes cluster. Data stays in the customer's network.
- Managed service: a dedicated, isolated cloud environment per customer in an EU region.
- Hybrid: collectors on-premises, central dashboards and alerting in the managed service.
